Program Overview
The Junior Entrepreneurship Lab introduces kids to the exciting world of business and creative thinking. Through fun challenges, real-world simulations, and teamwork, participants learn how to spot opportunities, develop ideas, and bring them to life — all while building confidence and life skills.
Key Learning Objectives
- Idea Generation & Problem-Solving - Learn how to observe problems and brainstorm solutions 
- Develop empathy for others through "Design Thinking for Kids" 
 
- Product Creation & Prototyping - Turn ideas into simple products or services 
- Use basic tools (crafts, cardboard, digital mockups) to bring concepts to life 
 
- Basic Business Concepts - Understand what a brand is, how money works, and how to price items 
- Learn the value of budgeting and how to track simple costs and profits 
 
- Pitch & Presentation Skills - Build public speaking confidence by presenting to peers or “kid sharks” 
- Use visual tools like posters or slides to support their ideas 
 
- Teamwork & Leadership - Collaborate in mini start-up teams 
- Practice roles like CEO, designer, or marketing lead in group projects 
 
Project-Based Activities
- "Lemonade Stand Remix" – Kids build and brand their own stand 
- "Mini Market Day" – A fun showcase where kids sell their creations to parents or peers using tokens or points 
- "Eco Hero Startups" – Focus on sustainability-themed business ideas
